Lethal Weapon 4 is a 1998 film directed by Richard Donner and is the fourth and final instalment in the Lethal Weapon film series. It was co-produced by Richard Donner and Joel Silver. New Jack City is a 1991 crime thriller directed by Mario Van Peebles in his directorial debut and produced by Doug McHenry and George Jackson. The screenplay was written by Thomas Lee Wright and Barry Michael Cooper based on a story by the former. New Jack City stars Wesley Snipes, Ice-T, Allen Payne, Chris Rock, Mario Van Peebles and Judd Nelson. The storyline is based around Nino Brown, a rising drug dealer and criminal gang leader in Harlem, New York City during the 1986 crack epidemic in the city.
